netPLM research and development project (2011-2012) is consentrating on Product Life-Cycle Management in Networks. Managing product data is not only important for efficient mass customization but also for whole life-cycle of capital investments so that also life-cycle services can be customized for the customer. netPLM-project is a joint effort of University of Tampere, Tampere University of Technology, Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation (TEKES), Technology Industries of Finland ry, and multiple companies.

StrAgile research and development project (2008-2011) is consentrating on strategic agility of production networks. Importance of supply chains and production network is evident in pull-based production. StrAgile project is a joint effort of University of Tampere, Tampere University of Technology, Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation (TEKES), Technology Industries of Finland ry, and multiple companies.

MASSI research and development project (2006-2008) is consentrating on ICT enabled mass customization strategies in Finnish technology industries. Developments in ICT has largerly enabled implementation of efficient mass customization strategies. Massi project is a joint effort of Department of Computer Sciences at University of Tampere, Institute of Industrial Management at Tampere University of Technology, Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation (TEKES), Technology Industries of Finland ry, and multiple companies.
