MASSI - Current
The second phase of the research and development project MASSI has started with company specific development projects. The research team works with 10 companies to increase knowledge and to develop mass customization practices in each company.
Also, the international phase of MASSI project is conducted during the Autumn 2007 at Advanced
Manufacturing Institute (www.ami.ust.hk) of Hong Kong University of Science and
Technology and in it's in China Hangzhou operating ZAMI institute (
www.zami.com.cn). The main purpose of study is to analyze Finnish companies' abilities in
mass customization and their capabilities in China sourcing.
